We are excited to bring you our first Japanese tea hailing from the Kagoshima Prefecture. An intriguing pairing of a delightful sencha with toasted brown rice, delivering a rich but mild flavour that is never bitter or painfully strong. Lower in caffeine than many other Japanese green teas, you might find this a wonderfully relaxing evening brew. As an added bonus it is particularly refreshing served chilled or over ice.
HOW TO BREW
For the first infusion. Heat the water to 80 degrees celsius. Add 1 gram of tea per 100ml of water. Brew for approximately 1 minute. For the second infusion the brew time will only be a few seconds. As always, use our recommendations as a guide and then experiment until you get your preferred outcome. Happy Sipping!
